Joseph V. Tygielski, 79, of Hatfield, husband of Deborah G. (Glover) Tygielski, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Elm Terrace Gardens, Lansdale.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Laskowski) Tygielski.
Joseph was a US Army veteran that served during the Vietnam era. He was an avid reader, enjoyed Tom Clancy novels and murder mysteries, and spent his free time doing crossword puzzles. Joseph drove a school bus for 16 years for First Student in Colmar, for the Christopher Dock, and Mater Dei schools.
Surviving with his wife is son Tony Tygielski, husband of Janna; siblings Sister M. Therese "Jane" Tygielska, Dolores Greichen (late Bill), Theresa Tygielska, and John Tygielski (late Patricia); grandsons Jacob Tygielski and Nathan Fawcett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 9:30Am to 10:45AM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale with a memorial service starting at 11:00AM. Burial will be at a later date.
