Margie W. Booz

Margie W. Booz, 85, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, in Lansdale, PA, where she resided for the last 40 years. Margie and her husband, Charles Harry Booz who just passed March 7, 2023, would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on May 24th of this year.

Born May 26, 1938, in Lansdale, PA, was the daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy (Kibblehouse) White. She grew up in North Wales, PA, graduated from the first graduating class of the newly formed North Penn High School.

Margie Booz was dedicated to community service in many ways throughout her life. She was a Girl Scout Leader and achieved her 50 year pin, volunteering her time to many community organizations including Lansdale Business Association, Historical Society, Holiday House Tours, and countless Lansdale community events throughout the years. She was an accomplished floral designer, owner of North Penn Florist Ltd and founder of what is now Chantilly Floral. One of her many highlights of her career was the opportunity to volunteer her time installing Christmas decorations at the White House in Washington D.C.

Margie Booz is survived by two sons, Clifford A Booz of Lansdale his wife Collette; their only child Rebecca, and Charles Booz his wife Marie; their daughter Madison, of Skippack, PA. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Thompson, two brothers, Howard (Skip) White, and George White.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service from 12:30-2:00 pm on Monday, November 13, 2023, at the Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446.
