Michael Linko, Sr.

Michael Linko, Sr., 92, of Quakertown and formerly of Hatfield, died Monday, October 14, 2024.  He was the beloved husband of the late Eva (Woodley) Linko, who died in 2007.

Born May 21, 1932 in Scranton, he was a son of the late John and Stella (Geklinski) Linko.

Mr. Linko was employed in the paper industry for many years.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and was a longtime parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church, Lansdale.

Survivors include his children, Sharon O'Donnell (Thomas) of Georgetown, DE, Debra Pletscher (Fred) of Oley, PA, and Lynette Kapcsos (James) of Bethlehem, PA; nine grandchildren, Colleen, Christine, Michael, Nathan, Joshua, Samantha, Nicholas, Patrick, and Tyler; 15 great-grandchildren; his sister, Dolores Jascoviez of Clarks Summit, PA; two brothers, William Linko of California, and Robert Linko of Avoca, PA; and his dear companion, Rose Nicolino of Quakertown.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Linko; and two brothers, Joseph Linko and Thomas Linko.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Prayer Service at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be private in Greenlawn Cemetery.
