Born to Carl and Assunda Zampetti on January 26, 1932, Pat grew up in Elizabeth, NJ with his brother John Zampetti and sister, Josephine Murphy.

Patrick entered the military in 1952 serving as an Army Sergeant in the Korean War. Proud to have served his country, he was honorably discharged. Upon returning home he married the love of his life, Peggy Mahon in 1954. They recently celebrated 68 wonderful years of marriage.

He was also loved by many nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.

After graduating from Jefferson High School, Pat attended Newark College of Engineering before becoming a draftsman creating detailed architectural drawings and designs. He often worked multiple jobs to help raise his family. Pat then accepted a position with Construction Specialties in Cranford, NJ where he was responsible for the design and sales of much of the company's initial product line. Pat was promoted to Vice President of International Sales, overseeing large scale projects while travelling to Europe and the Middle East prior to his retirement. In addition to being a proud veteran, Patrick was a longtime member and former chaplain of VFW Post 7155 of Trappe, PA. Patrick enjoyed gardening, oil painting, golfing, making homemade gravy and meatballs, eating DiCosmo's orange ice, and many family vacations to Myrtle Beach. Above all, he was happiest when spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
