W. Robert Lewis Iii

Robert Lewis III, 86, of Perkasie and formerly of Lansdale, died Wednesday, March 8, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie (Keer) Lewis, who died January 10, 2015.

Born March 25, 1936 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Mildred (Krider) and W. Robert Lewis, Jr.

Mr. Lewis was employed in industrial sales for many years.  He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force and a longtime parishioner of Corpus Christi Church, Lansdale.  Bob was an avid NASCAR and Philadelphia sports fan, and his hobbies included muscle cars, golf, and motorcycles.  Earlier in life, he was a standout baseball player.

Survivors include his son, Kevin J. Lewis (Jennifer) of Perkasie; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Thomas Lewis (Michelle) and Wayne Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rosemarie Martin.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m.   Burial will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
