Staff members of Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Inc. are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.

Warren F. Miller III

Supervisor, Licensed Funeral Director

Warren F. “Wren” Miller III was raised in Hanover, PA and graduated from Hanover High School. He attended the University of Virginia where he earned degrees in Economics and History. While at UVa, Wren was a member of the Virginia Glee Club, the Virginia Gentlemen (an a capella group), and Chi Psi fraternity. After graduation, Wren taught for a number of years in the District of Columbia Public Schools through the Teach For America program. Afterwards, he became a licensed funeral director and worked in the Hanover area.

Wren moved to Lansdale in 2011 and joined Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home. In 2012, he was named supervisor. He loves the North Penn region, especially its many great restaurants!

He and his wife, Tara, are the proud parents of two daughters, Lucy and Lydia, along with a tuxedo cat, Buford, and rescue dog, Oliver. His hobbies include reading, music, board games, and playing tennis.

Edward R. Cox

Licensed Funeral Director

A native of Lebanon County and a 1973 graduate of Cedar Crest High School. He went on to receive an associate’s degree in business at Harrisburg Area Community College, followed by his mortuary schooling at Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. In 1978 he received his Pennsylvania Funeral Director License and in 1984 his Florida Funeral Director License.

Currently his home is in Berks County along with his wife, Kathy, and daughter, Rachel. His favorite pastime is boating in the waters along the eastern shore and fresh water lakes in PA. Ed is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys cooking for family and friends in their home.

Ed is proud to have been continuously serving families in the funeral industry since 1978. In 2012 he joined Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home where he is honored to continue his funeral service in the North Penn region.

Jason Pozar

Licensed Funeral Director

Originally from western Pennsylvania, Jason is a 1997 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He joined the staff of Huff & Lakjer in 2022.

Throughout his career he has worked in western Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Japan.

Jason currently lives in Gilbertsville with his wife Miki and son Kai. He is a cub scout leader in Boyertown, and enjoys taking Taekwondo with his wife and son.

Louise Halteman

Administrative Assistant

Louise has been part of the Huff & Lakjer staff since November of 2001.

A graduate of Christopher Dock Mennonite High School and Gwynedd Mercy College, Louise and her husband Brent reside in Franconia Township. They have two grown sons, David and his wife Renae, and Dana and his wife Alyssa, two granddaughters and a grandson.

Brent and Louise are active members of Franconia Mennonite Church, and Louise enjoys walking, traveling, flower gardening, camping, and entertaining with family and friends.

Sue Wack

Administrative Assistant

A graduate of Souderton High School, Montgomery County Community College and Eastern School of Christian Ministry, Sue lives with her rescue dog, Maddy, in Towamencin Township. She enjoys RV camping in the Poconos, Phillies baseball, jigsaw puzzles, coloring, counted cross stitch and walking with her dog.

Sue is an active member of Zwingli United Church of Christ in Souderton where she has served as an Elder, Steward and Trustee. She is currently studying to be a Stephen Minister and is also a hospice volunteer with Grand View Hospice.

Sue has been with the Huff & Lakjer family since December 2013. She is also a service dispatcher & parts manager at Altek Business Systems, Inc., Telford.
